My Story

I'm a fourth-generation Edina resident who's ready to deliver for you

I'm a hockey coach and fourth-generation Edina resident. My family moved to Sunnyslope in 1952. My great-grandpa got his first job caddying at Interlachen, my grandma graduated from Edina-Morningside High School, and my dad lives on Wooddale.

I grew up playing hockey on rinks like Braemar. I've coached Squirts and Pewees (4th-7th graders) for the last two years, and every time I step on the ice, I learn more from them than they learn from me.

When I'm not coaching, I run Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon’s re-election campaign. I'm a pragmatic leader who understands how government works at every level. We could use more of that in politics.

After graduating summa cum laude with a degree from Georgetown, I worked at two nonprofits, raising money for refugees and Holocaust education. I understand how far we’ve come and how far we have to go. 

I'll also look out for you. When ICE kidnapped our neighbors, I protested and went on patrols.

I'm proud to live in Interlachen Park and serve on the board of the Edina Historical Society and the Edina 4th of July Committee.
