My family moved to Sunnyslope in 1952. My great-grandpa got his first job caddying at Interlachen, my grandma graduated from Edina-Morningside High School, and my dad lives on Wooddale.</p><p>I grew up playing hockey on rinks like Braemar. I understand how far we’ve come and how far we have to go.&nbsp;</p><p>I'll also look out for you. When ICE kidnapped our neighbors, I protested and went on patrols.</p><p>I'm proud to live in Interlachen Park and serve on the board of the <strong>Edina Historical Society</strong> and the <strong>Edina 4th of July Committee</strong>.</p>

<p>Nothing is more important than keeping you safe and filling potholes.<strong> </strong>I'll fight to catch up on deferred maintenance for roads and bridges, support first responders, protect parks, and plow streets efficiently.</p>

<p>Edina is a multi-generational city, but our kids and grandkids can’t afford to live here. I'll work to change that by protecting starter homes, building more condos and townhomes, increasing permit fees to preserve established neighborhoods, and using TIF to benefit the community rather than developers.</p>

<p>Nearly 40 percent of Edina residents are concerned about aging in place. I'll focus on reducing housing costs for lower-income seniors, ensuring new developments are ADA-compliant, supporting the Edina Senior Center, and providing assistance to family members caring for parents or grandparents.</p>

<p>Cities have a crucial role to play in addressing climate change. That means prioritizing clean water, opening more public lands and buildings to community solar gardens, collecting plastic bag fees instead of giving them to retailers, and protecting our urban canopy.&nbsp;</p>
